There used to be a massive amount of competition each year in my city for the shopping centre with the best grotto. One year you could go visit Santa on Pluto which involved a trip on a TNG style spaceship bridge with humanoid reindeer in pseudo star fleet uniforms.

There are so many Monster Mash sounding tracks from the 60s on there. I guess people couldn’t get enough of those novelty tracks back then.
