“Teen Beat found out that Peter Tork was in town recently, and thanks to Stephanie Markis, he visited our offices. We asked that shy and lovable Monkee, what he’s up to. Music’s the answer.” - Teen Beat (December 1977)

You know the line "Cheer up sleepy Jean, Oh what can it mean to a daydream believer and a homecoming queen"?
There's a real life Sleepy Jean/Homecoming Queen, and it's Buffy Ford Stewart who was the inspiration for her husband John Stewart's song! ❤️

From Micky Dolenz today: Nashville was amazing! Joe Wooten from the Steve Miller Band joined us and brought incredible energy. It’s always a joy to share the stage with such talent. I also met Carlene Carter, June Carter's daughter and Johnny Cash’s step-daughter—a piece of American music history!

“Peter, too, was a sensation when he plucked his banjo (he’s usually on guitar) and chanted a folk tune. He had a Ringo-like naivete, and looked like the Dutch Boy on the cleanser.” - Wayne Harada, The Honolulu Advertiser (December 5, 1966)
