Spain is coming through. Bravo.
Following Eurovision’s decision to allow Israel’s participation, Spanish public broadcaster RTVE has withdrawn from the contest. The announcement split the screen between Israel’s performance and scenes of bombardment and starving children in Gaza. #Spain #eurovision #genocide

I do not work for the shelter. Just been sharing MELIA for awhile now. The shelter does post videos on Facebook, Instagram and X. It's under "Adopt MELIA & Friends". I only have Bluesky. I post videos as I receive them. Check her out below. 💗

Hempstead animal shelter #1 thing they're looking for in an adopter for MELIA.

"Hello, we would need an applicant that has experience with resource guarding and stranger issues, as she does have a bite history with both those behavioral issues."

Found Omni Magazine located on a google drive site with scanned magazines from 1978 to 1995. It is an incredible treasure. Gotta salute Dan Simmons, author of Eyes I Dare Not Meet in Dreams (Sept 1982). I reread it again after almost 45 years…it’s still one of the best short stories I’ve read.

The Citizens United decision has corrupted our government and is destroying our democracy. Here's a way to get rid of it. robertreich.substack.com/p/how-to-get...
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

Trump has now become his own joke. Trying to prove how big a man you are by committing war crimes against people in boats or shutting down USAID, or deporting people out of the US is a lost cause. Repubs better start pushing back against MAGA or the game is lost for the next four years.

This story sums up Trump: No need for evidence. No need for laws or treaties. No need for discussions. If Trump decides (based upon whatever random information or maybe just heartburn) that someone is in the wrong, he believes he has the right to kill them.

The US is now a rogue nation.

New evidence in support of universal basic income. This is via the Rx Kids program that's going to babies for their 1st year of life. The $500/mo has led to a 32% reduction in allegations of maltreatment among infants compared to the control group. This has also been seen as a result of Alaska's UBI

This is a great explainer video by @chrisjardineenergy.bsky.social that helps to make sense of the energy system.
