In general, LLMs are good for replicating the quality of someone somewhat less skilled than the person asking.
If you’re able to identify/correct the things they get wrong, they can sometimes do an adequate job.
If you’re asking it to do something you don’t know anything about, it’s a coin toss.

Basically, yeah. The flat lighting and audio used by soaps means you don’t need to change anything for different shots, so they can record an remarkable amount of content, add in any needed cut-ins, and not worry about inconsistencies in editing. It also means costuming and makeup are easily reused.

For what it’s worth, Israel has been doing this for decades, and people *were* much more indifferent. The biggest cause *is* social media, especially video. There’s nothing to the idea that China somehow intentionally crafted algorithms to be pro-Palestinian, but TikTok itself *did* affect opinions.

I mean, that position is still nonsense, as “being in the US unlawfully” *is* legally the same civil violation as being here with an expired visa.
Decriminalizing the act of the unlawful crossing itself isn’t something he’d even have the (legal) ability to do.

I mean, the Revolutionary War was entirely the doing of extraordinarily wealthy businessmen. The Founding Fathers were the day’s equivalent of Bezos and Zuckerberg, not the freedom-loving salt of the earth folks they’ve been increasingly portrayed as in the years since.

Of course the protests aren’t a “threat.” It’s an extraordinarily well publicized weekend event aimed primarily at getting large numbers of middle-class people out and in front of news cameras across the country.
