Obvious comment but, England are used to being behind in the knockouts and Spain will know they’ll need more than one (or even two) before they can start to feel like they’ve opened a gap in the game

Having an absolute ball!!
Hop Schwiz!! @mollyappleton.bsky.social and I had a great time in Bern tonight. Switzerland deserved winners and the atmosphere was electric. A draw against Finland and round of 16 awaits.

I did not appreciate you at the time bc I was 23 and the saddest bitch in all of France but you were right, king.

Holly McNamara is 22, leading the #ALW Golden Boot and has only played about half the games this season.

This Federal Election, demand the major parties produce a place to keep her happy & healthy. It’s in the national interest.

Party people I’m keen for some recommendations on Aussie news podcasts. Keen for something daily that gives me a feel for the latest news that I can listen to on my morning commute. Where should I look?

For my essay I will explain why I’m totally fine with the Matildas’ rankings on a “downward trajectory”…

Essay to probably come. But just so you know, this is so fine and no need to hit a panic button or the blame game.

What’s it gonna take for the Matildas to start the kids? I’m willing to make a trade.

Devo that Nike aren’t going beyond XL in women’s cut for Matildas/Socceroos jerseys. I loved my 3XL Tillies jersey for the World Cup. She was perfect and I was keen on a new one. Now I need to figure out the men’s sizes because women’s XL is too tight a squeeze 😅

I’ll start caring more about the “financial sustainability” of women’s clubs (especially ones paying good money in the transfer market), once women’s teams stop being axed due to financial issues and/or demotion of a club’s men’s side.

I banked on there being sun today and wore shorts. I’m still waiting for the bus to get to work and I already have regrets. The sun is totally not out to play 😞 Oh Tassie, this summer has been a long cold burn.
