I called Stripe today to ask about, yes, their absurd adult content policy, but also to ask why Itch seemed to be facing restrictions when other policy violators like OpenAI, Twitter, and Anthropic were still being openly promoted by Stripe as partners (and I pointed out their violations).

working on my playable dandelion...

Mentioned the KOSA and the SCREEN act, how it's censorious and even a National Security threat, citing Social Security leaks
He said that they've gotten hundreds of calls about KOSA (nice) but they didn't hear about the SCREEN act since it's "not bi-partisan." 🤔

I called my rep (Blue district).

we make no progress being mad at the little team at itch whose only options were comply or shut down. i know it's hard to fathom that christian lobbyists and in turn payment processors have that power, and it's easy to be mad at itch, but you cannot lose sight of your real target.
