Why? Does it make you feel superior in some way to be sh*tty to strangers? Periodically someone cleans out my Little Free Libraries & leaves the doors open. Took the dog for a walk and found them down the street dropped on the ground. Why?

#The52BookClub Prompt 42: Non-human antagonist. Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley. As someone with a 14+ dog with a heart murmur, 6 teeth left, going deaf & blind - idk if this was such a wise choice in books, but I think any dog owner will recognize the unhinged hatred of the octopus

Every time I witness the birds & bees enjoying my efforts to provide for them, it fills me with such satisfaction for the time & effort. (It took 2 years for the native honeysuckle to bloom & has really taken off this year)
