Japan plans to implement artificial intelligence to police anime and manga pirating websites that the pop-culture powerhouse accuses of costing it billions of dollars in lost revenue every year.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at the Hilton in Amsterdam the past couple of day where John and Yoko stayed in 1969. Just after their wedding in “Gibraltar near Spain” the photo on the right having been taken by the late, great Slim Simpson.

A team including government-backed research institute Riken and the University of Tokyo has developed a plastic material that can be dissolved in seawater in hours, sparking hopes that the new material will help reduce environmental pollution.
