In my continuing quest to escape reality, I did some old-school channel flipping tonight. I came upon Wayne's World and it is so deliciously dumb and a total 90s time capsule. Can we vacation in 1992?

I was thinking about this Joe and Tracy anecdote from the supply chain crisis on gummy bears. Things are probably going to get really weird in a few weeks in unexpected ways:

I believe Trump likes to smell his own farts; it doesn't make it true (but probably is).

This is one of the most inspirational things I've read in weeks.
In light of everything happening, I wrote about how the KKK in the 1920s felt unstoppable, about the people that fought against them anyway, and about how fascism always fails. dansinker.com/posts/202…

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

Doing corporate Code of Ethics training while a corruption blitzkrieg is happening in the US is some wild cognitive dissonance.

Apple Health just prompted me with a mental health questionnaire, and the results were not encouraging. I want to thank the Trump administration for the severe anxiety and moderate depression risk diagnosis 😬

🤔 #Section31 is a genuinely odd Star Trek property. It felt like a big-budget TV movie or an extended video game cut scene. There were fun moments, fight scenes that went way too long, and bizarre stuff (the doll?). It's not my favorite, but we've survived worse episodes of TNG or DS9.
