My first attempt at making sourdough bread was a great success! Crisp on the outside and soft and springy on the inside. I used heritage wheat from Sunrise Flour Mill. It was a long and sometimes confusing process, but now having done it, the next one will be easier. #sourdough

Hah! You just named all the other birds who visited the feeder today. Along with Goldfinches and even a big Northern Flicker! It was a tight fit for him, but not being able to perch on the other feeders he enjoyed the easy landing on this one

This is what is in the feeder. It's called Mealworm Medley from Harvest Seed & Supply. It contains Black Oil Sunflower Seed, Millet, Safflower Seed, Chipped Sunflower Seed, Striped Sunflower Seed, Peanuts, Dehydrated Mealworms, Milo. They like the suet too.

Mute swan,graphite.
The name “mute” comes from the fact that these swans are not very vocal. But they are very territorial and once they scare off any other birds, they call to each other and flap their wings in celebration - like a swan high-five.
