When did a woman chara in csm ever have the "privilege" of saying "my body and my choices belong to me alone and that'll never change"?
It’s the through-line from this to where we are now that scares me so much. Asa’s body as an objectified trophy, something to be won and possessed, ultimately valued for her parts rather than her humanity.

It's narrative double suicide painting Denji as a heroic knight in shining armor now after all he has done in those 2 full parts. No inbeteween of him actually growing as a person, but becoming increasingly a calous hedonistic who needs no one instead.
Oh I have many thoughts about this. Will go into it later, but the main one is god I really hope Fujimoto is going to go into how Asa’s autonomy and bodily ownership is being used as leverage and only going to be granted to her by a man’s actions
