finally deleted all the tugs stuff off my computer. feels surprisingly good. I'll still be around if anyone wants to keep in touch of course, i'm not going anywhere - but for now, as far as tugs goes i think i'm finally done.

A set of six photographs from the production of series 4 recently came up on eBay, and I'm glad to say I was able to get them.
These are quite scratched at the edges, which would take weeks to fix, but are in otherwise great condition and colour corrected well. Enjoy!

There were definitely not enough sprites to make a complete landscape, and the floor tiles are pretty ugly IMHO. Still, a interesting look into what might've been.

So, I've been messing with the sprites @mkinst.bsky.social managed to extract from 3D Ultra Lionel Traintown. (Thank you!) Here's a VERY rough mockup of the beta kitchen sprites that were refined and finished for the Deluxe version.

Also, just to clarify, David did allow me to share his photos, I would not have posted them without his permission, it was one of the first things I asked him when I emailed him about them.
He was kind enough to lend them to me for a few days so I could scan them, then they went back to him.

This just came up so for anyone who doesn't know - .AI files are *a vector file type*, they are Adobe Illustrator's native file type. Files ending with .ai don't have anything to do with /that/ kind of AI 🫶 Pls don't call out an artist bc you see them working on an .ai file
