Apple is at a crossroads. There are elements in the company that want to join the insane AI circus (abandoning the slow lean in approach) and elements that are trying to avoid it at all costs.
This includes cohorts of shareholders.

1. It’s fairly new from a UX perspective. Some done right (consistent search bar placement), some still a work in progress.
