If use AI to create a picture of an ancestor to use an illustration in a post about that ancestor, should you indicate that the picture was created by AI? It seems to me like you should. #genealogy

What did you do with these if you had some? I kept people I knew and got rid of vacation photos and non-people shots unless I knew the location. You cannot keep it all #genealogy

You can't save every card you ever received. I've digitized ones with #genealogy significance and kept few for sentimental reasons...including these two from my grandmothers.

Been a long time since the bulk of my #genealogy notes were handwritten. But back in the day not all microfilm readers would print. Paper and pencil were what we used.

Need a picture of the school your ancestor attended? Do #genealogy societies, historical societies, local libraries and the like have graduation announcements or yearbooks? They may have them.

Always thought that all the white boxes in the ThruLines at AncestryDNA came from my actual tree. Apparently the relationships do not. The white box people are in my tree, but I do not have Trientje H as the daughter of F Lichtsinn as shown here. Urgh. #genealogy
