Hi Deb. It is so good to not have that nonsense.

How sweet Abe is.

You too. Happy leftovers day.

Don't blame you at all. I try to thank them when checking out.
November 28, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Me too. Did have a bite of my apple pie with coffee this morning though. Nice just for 2. I have done that often.

Reading outside is a favorite pastime to me too. So glad we can all year long.

A big winner. Only have a little left. Dinner tonight with the turkey I got to take home too.
November 28, 2025 at 6:41 PM
At least you do have it at the ready.

Yes, a very good start.
November 28, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Thanks. Big smile here.
November 28, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Hi Natalie. Well that is so disappointing. At least it was only you 2. And the sides are often the hit of the feast.

When you are done with your ducks, EM might want to cook one. 😜

We all have those foods that make us happy.
November 28, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Thank you. Lucky here to have lots of options. It is a tragedy for them. ~sighs
November 28, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Hi Stef. To you too.

It sure is. Puttering and no cooking. LOL. A puzzlement for sure.

Take a break. The holidays require a some break times. So much happening all the time.
November 28, 2025 at 6:13 PM
And you both were thankful. I agree. It is the best
November 28, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Lucky you.

That fellow is joining a very loving family. Glad you all waited for him. And you get 2 feasts!

I don't need much and have been picking things up for a while too to avoid this.

I think we all need to reflect on our blessings. Love Thanksgiving.

Makes sense. Religious crazies. I would love to learn more. Now another quest. I have been on a Salem witch trials reading binge.

One turkey gives us so many options and meals. I am looking forward to a casserole.

Recipe please. How huge is that pan? I have a pretty big one but can't imagine a whole turkey in parts would fit.

She said he was doing better last evening but we need to keep him in our hearts still.

Good to see our bees happy. We are still in bloom here so they are all around.

Always a chore setting up smart stuff. Good luck.
November 28, 2025 at 5:51 PM
I know how that feels. But it's only a short time for a better healing outcome for years.

Maybe a puzzle?
November 28, 2025 at 5:49 PM
That is great to hear. There is nothing I need today.

R is such a good guy. He is 💯% correct.
November 28, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Hello John. ~raises my hand

We should call this Leftover Day.
November 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
My thought too. All my hard work. Felt insulted.
November 28, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Hi Lisa. It is a lovely day. We are lucky here.

Glad you enjoyed your feast too. All those traditions are a must to me.

I love stuffing too but there was NONE yesterday. Humbug. But I do have my own turkey defrosting to make next week. See why? And I agree, it's the perfect name.
November 28, 2025 at 5:41 PM
I so agree. It is cruel.

Same for me. Leave shopping to the masochists.
November 28, 2025 at 5:33 PM
What Katy said.
November 28, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Hi EM. No matter how many or few, still lots of cooking.

Interesting. I know a friend who boils spare ribs like that before on the smoker.

Ever roast potatoes with duck fat? Sooo good. But tortillas sound really good too.

Daffy is right on the money.
November 28, 2025 at 5:29 PM
I had someone get up from my feast and go shopping once. Never invited her again.
