Won’t lie, I’m not ready for everyone to go back to work/school next week. The roads have been so quiet that my drive to work has been brilliant & has taken half the time it normally does. I’m not mentally prepared to sit in traffic again 😩

Had a fab few days in Paris for my birthday weekend. 32,000 steps walked on Saturday, 31’ heat & eating my own body weight in pastries 🥐 ☀️

Any chance @wirralcouncil.bsky.social might actually get round to sorting this out and get some tarmac on the roads?? I’m up to two small chips on my windscreen now from gravel being flicked up on my windscreen!! 😠
Are there any roads on the Wirral that haven’t got temporary traffic lights on them for roadworks, or haven’t been dug up for road resurfacing work (that hasn’t actually been done yet, so just leaving a load of gravel for you to fire at other cars) 🤷🏻♀️

Do they ever stop moaning about Tranmere on Twitter? Seriously sick of hearing people whine about the tent, or the food, or the beer! Even when we win 4-0 there is never anything positive. We get it, you all hate Mark Palios 🤦🏻♀️

A damp, dreary & humid day spent on a flying visit to London. Even when it’s raining the view on the Mall still looks pretty majestic 🇬🇧🏰 took myself on a little tour of Highgate to see the resting place of George Michael too 💙

Brilliant night in Blackpool with my dad, sisters & nephews watching the darts! Littlest nephew had the best night of his life, getting to watch his absolute hero Stephen Bunting & then getting his autograph too 😊 love how they still want to do things with us even though they are growing up 🎯

Finally seeing the light at the end of a week long sinusitis/flu/germ filled tunnel 😷🤧 my poor nose is so sore from constant blowing/sneezing/snot. I could taste my crisps again so the end is in sight 🙏

2 minutes later; “mummmmm- I think I’ve broke my foot”…..
1 trip to a&e, 1 X-ray & 2.5 hours later he’s going to be off work for 4-6 weeks and the sliders are going in the bin 🤦🏻♀️😫

An afternoon trip to the theatre to watch Hamilton (well worth the watch) followed by a trip to Aintree for an MRI on the old tiny brain tumour at 7.30 on a Saturday night (no need for an appointment at that time). I need a cup of tea!!
