An arrowhead made of #meteorite iron: around 1,500 BC, a meteorite struck #Estonia. A fragment of it arrived - presumably in the baggage of an amber trader - at what is now Lake Biel, #Switzerland. An arrowhead was then made there from the cosmic iron.

An Italian politician is so angry about 'carbonara sauce' being sold in a Brussels supermarket that his remarks sparked a small diplomatic incident. As an Italian Belgian I'd like to reclaim wafels, chocolate, beer and fries. All of which are shite abroad yet sold all over the globe as 🇧🇪

Het museum van Mariemont in Henegouwen zet Maria van Hongarije in de schijnwerpers. Ze was de zus van Karel V en in de 16e eeuw had ze grote invloed, zowel politiek als artistiek. Een buitengewone vrouw, die jaagde als een man, vernieuwende paleizen bouwde en schilderopdrachten gaf aan kunstenaars als Titiaan.
