Apparently I was not good at taking pictures during this time, but here's one from the campus where I can genuinely say that I learned far more outside the classes than inside them.

No big reason this is the picture I decided to take except I was marveling at the scale of time in a touristy way.

I stopped sewing for months because after I switched my main sewing machine from a cheapie hand crank to a nice antique one, it made a clattering noise that I couldn't tolerate. Turns out it just needed a pretty ribbon.

I liked the Ender books as a kid, but preferred this book because there was a good deal less trauma.
Though I do remember thinking there was a bit more discussion of the protagonist's junk than was strictly warranted.
