I just released the demo for my puzzle game Croquis on itch! (Steam should be coming soon)

Learned a ton, especially with Blender and doing 3D with Godot

Just found out you can add reverb (and many other audio effects) to any of your audio buses in Godot

it's just the little things <3

Awesome read 😮 too bad I learned later that it was considered the second of a trilogy, oh well

Rooms 7 & 8 took way more time than the previous ones to make

one more to go before the "polish" step and the first demo of Croquis should be ready!

Working on the title screen for my game

Now I just need to learn how to do ambient electronic music or some bleep bloop deet doot SF sound effects and I'll have some ✨ vibe ✨ here

(oh and I want to make the pen fall from the hand if the player waits too long here, but that's bonus)

Drawing on paper and checking your solution, 2 of the main mechanics of my puzzle game, are now functional 🥹 now I "just" need to make progressively harder rooms

so hyped about the first 3d game I'm working on

I still have a lot to learn about Godot's light and environment tho 😅

Little low-poly clipboard I made for a 3D side-project I'm working on

I feel I'm having way more fun doing 3D modeling than I had with pixel-art 🫣

Just finished a nice combo: 2 giants of Japanese literature

Kawabata really feels like a Naruse or Ozu film. Soft, delicate, a style that's expressive and elegant, yet very simple in appearance.
The Mishima surprised me, it goes deep in the characters' psychology; written when he was only 24!

je like 2-3 posts sur Lynch, et depuis une armée de bots commence à me suivre. David était-il le rempart contre un monde infesté par l'ia ?

Some of my favorite albums of 2024 (approximate ranking, I'm only sure of the first two!)

I just finished The Tatami Galaxy. Everything fits so well together, from the classical-to-jazzy music, the general aesthetics (the simplicity of some scenery, the limited color palettes, the mix with real background photographs), to the writing. Very inspiring and probably my highlight of November
