ipod update:
ebay sent me the wrong ipod, and instead of a return they just refunded it. Free ipod (but not the one I wanted)
I can't seem to get my original ipod up and running. I likely need a firewire cable and an old as balls mac to plug it into.

I'm doing my best, but I have a question. I have this CF to IDE converter that I need to jam into a small space, what does the jumper do? Can I just de-solder it out of there with no issues?

I really want to modify my old ipod, but I'll need an ipod firewire cable & charging brick, and an ancient mac to plug it into (for software restore). After that, I need a new battery and hard drive. It's expensive as it is impossible.

I wanted to draw in procreate, can’t say I enjoy it. The pen tip is large and clumsy, but when I zoom in I lose the ability to see the piece as a whole. Annoying.
