Let's hack the page to make "FOR" editable. Font looks like Adobe Coffee Service; Google Fonts Sriracha is close enough.

1. Right-click "FOR", select "Inspect"
2. Right-click the nearby `<span id="for-span"` element and "Edit as HTML"
3. Replace HTML (see reply)
4. Cmd+enter or Ctrl+enter to save

Bambu's MakerWorld requires a login to download free models, so it'll never overtake Thingiverse or Printables.

(Error message says it allows 5 downloads, but it blocked the first download, not the 5th)

They're directional sound cannons, they project an impossibly-loud, painful tone in a narrow cone at long distance. Sometimes used for comms, but previously used at protests for crowd dispersal. Can cause hearing damage.

Agents, masked, no badges, driving unmarked vehicles without plates, "clearly identify" themselves with what? A verbal "trust me, bro"?

Data Pools is an arduino-based hardware project that spoofs a number of wifi access points, recreating the wifi fingerprint of another place, to fool wifi-based geolocation systems. Pretend you're at the pool a world away!

Whenever the regime talks about "assaults" on agents, it's useful to substitute "temporary discomforts", which will still be a sensational overstatement

DHS says there are rioters armed with guns, slashing tires, throwing tear gas... But says nothing about the protesters

I humbly wish every browser game would .stopPropagation() and .preventDefault() so basic inputs wouldn't bubble up to the browser.

Without those, most keyboard-controlled web games are unplayable when the browser's typeahead find is turned on.

WTAF? Disney/ABC suspended Kimmel indefinitely after perpetually-asinine FCC commissioner Brendan Carr threatened them, but this is one of those times when I just cannot understand what Carr's beef with Kimmel was. Kimmel's words in the screenshots.

I'm not a Kaner, but maybe it's the factory outlet building for whatever used to be there? Several rando businesses from the last 25 years have that address on rando data broker sites.

Today's the 30th anniversary of Hackers (1995).

I love this movie. It's a fun, well-produced story about a group of exceptionally competent people who team up to successfully defeat corrupt authority.

Enjoy Slashfilm's (poorly-formatted) oral history:

There are many strengths of Loctite! I finally picked up some purple for tiny screws, but I usually use removable blue.

GenAI slop has ruined tables of contents. Like if I click into a site and it's got a table of contents, I nope out. 95% chance it's a cookie-cutter slop pile.
