I don’t know who needs to hear this but no amount of oil drilling is going to make your groceries more affordable. That oil profit will not see your bank account.

The Leafs being terrible this year only reaffirms my belief that it is impossible for Toronto to have 3 good major league teams in the same year. The Raptors and Jays are killing it so it’s the Leafs turn to plummet.

Not to defend Conservatives but, removing tax from used vehicles is not a top priority and really does very little to relieve affordability issues. It just cuts down on tax dollars that should be used to truly relieve the affordability crisis. Idk just a weird bill for a ‘progressive’ party to push.

Our province has the highest rate of child poverty, homelessness and addiction is skyrocketing, our healthcare is being privatized and an MLA is trying to strip tenant rights. Meanwhile this gov’t holds back wages and forces reliance on food banks. $10,000 is a drop in the bucket.

It’s important that even though the strike is over, we do NOT let this city council off the hook for the cost of the scab work done to undermine our workers’ right to strike. Philip Brown still has to go.
