Good point, Doug. Our wind turbines are vulnerable to foreign attack, and fossil fuels are 100% safe. Because in the whole history of warfare, no one has ever bombed oil facilities.

Today, my family grows smaller as my in-laws and my niece and nephew (my❤️’s) pile in their cars and move to Canada. As the last few members of my family, this has been hard (devastating my wife) as we’re sort of it. And as a person with not a ton of living family left- it sucks.

Entering week 2 of a possible compressed disc in my back after that much pain last week, I’m trying to be kind and remind myself if I hadn’t been exercising and stretching regularly the last few years since my hip diagnosis-this might’ve been worse. Which is a scary thought.

The House just passed its budget resolution, so reconciliation is now officially underway. This is their bill to destroy Medicaid and SNAP while cutting taxes disproportionately for the rich.
THIS IS VERY REAL and can be enacted even if all Ds vote no.
