4 years back into RPG’s after 23 year hiatus. Preaching the gospel of Traveller RPG. Love for the lord Cthulhu too. Big fan of hard science & evidence based decision making. Northern British - The True North !
I would add (although maybe it occurs afterwards) a new labour leader and a Liz Truss of the left moment (compounded by International events), followed by a reform / Con coalition at the next election. Buckle up, it's gonna get rocky!

I've looked at it recently with an old work account and found it fine. Didn't see anything inflammatory at all.

When UK interest rates hit nearly 15 % in the 1980s, a 'typical borrower' could expect mortgage repayments around 27% of income. Today, average borrowers often spend 30–40%. Housing has never been more unaffordable or taken up a greater % of earnings. After bills there is literally nothing left.

I don't listen to any of them anymore. I listen to a client who has a furniture business which is struggling because fewer people are moving house as they cant afford a bigger mortgage, or can't sell the one they are in because people can't afford that either.

I think its as much the costs of everything these days as what people get paid. My mates daughter pays £1800 to rent a flat in Manchester, and her flatmate also pays £1800.

It's a good listen. First season was early Trump era, lots about Q- Anon, second was released in the lead up to Trump 2.0 and covers MAGA cult. Super interesting
