It would have been useful to have been told about the possibility of a reversal at Brussels in advance of the journey (I have a tight connection that I'm now likely to miss - I chose Coach 1 specifically :-( )

Unfortunately due to a sleeper cancellation along with the continued suspension of Hamburg-Copenhagen, both due to the weather in Northern Germany, my no-fly Oslo trip is now involving a train with wings, off to Copenhagen where the adventure resumes….

@seatsixtyone.bsky.social Ah so that’s what they’ve been doing with the Vienna lounge! They’ve opened up the back into a really nice overflow space. Main lounge area looks to have had minimal changes (but have some up to date photos of this too if you’d like them)

Have to say @ns.nl / @nsinternational.com knock it out of the park with branded merchandise! Their Rotterdam popup today was busy and they’ve got some great accessibly priced items…. It’s something I’d really like to see GBR/the NRM make more of with reasonably priced double arrow merch back home.

Ah it looks like DB's non-broadcast-only Bluesky channel @bahn.de has been discontinued. Does anyone (@jonworth.eu ?) have a good contact at DB? I don't use any of the social networks they remain active on, but it'd be a good bug to get fixed (I've missed a train because of it) :-)
@deutschebahn.com Hallo! I have noticed a bug on the live running info within iceportal.de - it's using local time from my device rather than overriding to the German timezone. ICE109 arrives Duisburg 14:11 for example :-) Please let me know if there's a better point of contact.

Nice problem to have - but I think @nebula.tv's platform is struggling somewhat with the popularity of the new #JetLagTheGame series premiere!

So. Prague to London in a day ✅… a 3-train, 17 hour trek across Europe! Started tracking along the Elbe at 0628 and pulled into St Pancras bang on time at 2157. #trainsnotplanes

A *particularly* excellent crew on #Eurostar 9167 tonight. Great initiative in offering surplus cold Premier meals when the meat Plus option ran out, and a particularly chatty friendly crew with an unprompted offer of wine top up too! cc @eurostarjustin.bsky.social @trainmanagerjo.bsky.social

Good afternoon from the ‘Max Express’! By a long way the most public transport-friendly GP and a huge logistical exercise. Trains run from Amsterdam to the circuit and back every 5 minutes all weekend. Extremely well run by NS, under 15 minutes from start of queue to being on our way to Zandvoort!

This is an excellent interview and well worth a listen. The knowledgeable enthusiasm of @jonworth.eu explaining the different players for expanding cross-Channel services, and the challenges they face both before and after starting revenue services, really is engaging.

Haha, so chatgpt's new agent feature has a warning that if you send the agent to do stuff, it may give bad people access to your data. Necessary, I guess, but if this is true it'd make it fairly useless, no?

It's interesting listening to newsreaders 'fill' during major news events where there's nothing actually new happening, but where they can't really switch away in case a development occurs. The BBC's Clive Myrie is one of the best at it, it's quite a skill to keep the conversation engaging. #pope
