Too damn slow.

Yep. My job of jobs is to haul up the 3 parts of the tree to the kitchen corner, assemble them, & ensure it's all working. Then I bring up 3-4 boxes of ornaments. Then I get out of the way.

I'd rather shove it all into a closet, if only we had a closet like that.

That's part of the First Law of Re-organisation.

Yep, my fav, too.

I bet the photog waited while cars lined up before the red light, then took the photo as it turned green.

Sometimes, when he's finished dozing and drooling over his McDoggy's, he likes to play with the nuclear codes.

Hand-washing, which follows under general hygiene, should have never stopped just because of the pandemic. Any halfwit who leaves a washroom without washing their hands gets a side-eye from me.
But all of the times we got home & wiped down our groceries were pointless.

It's easily solved. The G19 holds a separate meeting in a real country, and exclude the US of Russia.

Does it make a difference if it's only because she banged her finger?
November 30, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Sounds familiar. I read C19 reports from around the world & it was obvious the virus was airborne.
Then Tam told us not to wear masks, then it was "wear them only to protect others" omitting that they protect yourself & others. I gave up on all of them.
I follow Fisman & many other reputable people.

PH cooperated by making itself an oxymoron. We've ignored all of them since March 2020, when we started wearing masks. We're fully vaxxed & careful. To hell with them all.

To avoid disappointment and anger, I expect less and less from Carney.
November 30, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Never heard of them before.
Camping in Algonquin Park, Canada, in September 2024, I kept hearing creaking noises, esp. at night. A friend told me they were wood sawyer beetle larvae chewing away inside the dying pine trees.

One Xmas, eons ago, I got into taking turns buying rounds of tequila poppers. I remember getting up on the dance floor & hip-checking people (seemed funny at the time).
At home, I took my shoes off, then woke up with them back on.
Dangerous stuff!

But Fred paid good money for those degrees.

I briefly looked at getting a Toyota Highlander but gave up. It won't fit in our garage.
And then the CEO of Toyota went full MAGA. Screw them.

It's also a reflection of public health at both provincial & federal levels. By about 2021-2022, they eased off the pedal to let COVID reign.
It pisses me off that we know what works but won't do it or push for it ― ventilation, filtering, vaccinations, N95 masks.
November 30, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Sure, but tequila is an evil drink.
November 30, 2025 at 4:55 PM
We've dealt with much worse.
November 30, 2025 at 12:23 AM
I've been thinking about that.

I have a 2010 RAV4 & I'm often the smallest SUV in the lot. The monster pickups & SUVs dwarf my RAV.

I thought it was huge when I first bought it, but I needed to tow a boat.

They can't! It's mine. I'll pay for it in petrodollars over 20 years.
November 29, 2025 at 10:22 PM
It has to be full of shells and ammo.
