#scenereport small-ass St Augustine, Fl had an outsized rally this morning. No pics, but I was really surprised. And heartened! Not a protest town really, since they put MLK Jr in jail and bleached integration protestors in a swimming pool, etc, etc

I took the stale corn chips and breaded brined tofu, fried it. Served over rice, cilantro, avocado. Heartily recommend, if you like eating.

Man, that Lol Tolhurst Goth book really is the ultimate work of the genre. It’s poorly written, repetitive, and leaves all the juicy parts out.

Got my first case of DOGE food poisoning an hour before playing a show this weekend. A truly biblical amount of upheaval, and then I played the show, as I’m not a quitter. Then I retired to bed for two days.

Adam Shapiro, husband of Handala crew member and human rights defender Huwaida Arraf, spoke to Al Jazeera shortly after Israel seized the vessel. Shapiro said crew members were “prepared” and “determined.”

🚨 Israeli forces have stormed the Handala. Before closing the YouTube feed, Freedom Flotilla Coalition posted: "Please everyone escalate for Gaza and for the safety our volunteers who are being kidnapped right now. The IOF jammed the starlinks. No connection anymore. Push your governments."

It’s a fucking shame the world is too fucked for me to feel ok about just saying Ozzy is an important part of my
upbringing. There’s just too many dead people. Crazy Train. Love to the freaks.

Well, this is extremely frightening.
Per @npr.org, the Department of Homeland Security, in partnership with the White House U.S. DOGE Service, has built a searchable national citizenship register with data from the Social Security Administration & immigration records— without public notice & comment.
Infrastructure for a police state.
The Trump administration is building a national citizenship data system
The Department of Homeland Security, with help from DOGE, has rolled out a tool that purports to be able to check the citizenship status of almost all Americans.

I love the frankness afforded by speaking across languages. A German woman told me last night, “yes, that is my name, but when YOU say it, it sounds ugly”. And then we continued to get along very well.
