Gotta say, as someone brought up Catholic who no longer does the religion thing - I am impressed w the Church at this moment in time.

Since my point of view today is the VA elections... School curriculum has been a big issue here in the past. Including the past governor's race. This year I've heard zero about it from candidates. This is a thing of the past.

Back then there were still people in Congress that had fought in WWII, and I like to think they wouldn't stand for the US's current slide into fascism.

On an abstract level I like the idea of counterfactuals where everything collapses. Like GDP growth, with versus without a nuclear apocalypse.

How about this: every plan lets you have 100 numbers you can text for free. Other than that, 10 cents per text.
You could make it 200 or something, but have a system where personal use is okay but mass marketing stuff is not.
