Pretty much. Short words that I can glance at so I don’t have to read like a robot. Because I can’t memorize shit to save my life unless it’s a number.

I instead need a list of things I can just glance down at: Purpose, space/shape, light, sound, smell, motion in the area. Stuff like that, then I can just randomly pull that stuff outta my rear instead of writing a full blurb and hoping I'll actually stick to it.

Last week, some dude ran right through it and got caught in the middle of the intersection. When I calmly said ‘nice stop’ he proceeded to bombard me with as many expletives as possible… with other kids and parents around. Was quite the show.

I regularly yell at people blowing through the stop sign here. This is now how everyone at the boy’s school knows me. “Oh that’s you?!” Yep… I’m the idiot yelling.

That definitely comes after the thermostat stage. And the ‘why is this open’ stage is somewhere in between.
