I know he had a couple moments but I thought Morris looked pretty bad on RW. Unconfident in space and he’s not going to take people on. I think it’s a massive question for 26. Danny did an awesome job and nearly broke the record for most goals in a season for a Sounder. Hard to bench that guy.

Yes, to be clear the scheduling definitely needs work. But it pretty much forces the teams (and fans) to hate one another by the end. I’m guessing Seattle/MN games next year will have more juice.

Yeah seems like a pretty dumb rule. The angle gets impacted by a keeper moving off the line. So it impacts things every time. But obviously the rule leaves room for that not to be true.

This is really cool. Clubs should embrace both local & national media more because this is one advantage we have over the other major American sports where the profiles of people are too large to do these kinds of in-person events. More access = more personalities & more storylines to drive interest

You criticized him for putting snark or bias on his analysis, when you literally used a bias and snark to assume he hasn’t been watching. Being a fan means you can be protective and biased and you can disagree with national pundits. But I would recommend maintaining humility through that.

When you disagree with Matt or anyone else on social media, all you have to do is ask a question vs assume the person hasn’t been watching the games. It’s extremely possible that two people watch the same clip and have different takeaways. Also extremely possible you just disagree on an evaluation

Tom - any idea why Miami hasn't decided to just offer $2M of GAM for Glesnes/Yeimar/Boxall etc.? They have had a CB problem for multiple years and they have plenty of GAM to go out and get an elite MLS CB. I don't know if any of those teams would say yes but there has to be a CB they can overpay for
