Also broken record but after Congress has appropriated funds the Executive has no power to withhold them for arbitrary, vindictive reasons.

WOW. It feels like Musk and DOGE's taking a chainsaw to federal workers may have handed Virginia to the Dems for a generation (among other reasons of course!).

Generally agree with a quibble: He may have had some principles. But he stomped on nearly all core American values with the authorization and oversight of torture at Guatanamo. Mayer's book on this is harrowing.
