thats a good point. from my experience after quitting, i felt the urge to Do Something more than just sitting around, because the dopamine need couldn't be satisfied by just pulling air anymore. the need made me seek other tasks like chores or *ghasp* doodling!

Anyway, this is why live drawings are so heavily recommended to folks still learning how to draw. When you do studies from flat images, there's a lot of possible distortion that the observer may not be aware of. Observations from life are being received by that universal organ, the ol' eyeball.

Like a decade ago I decided to sit down and do a trans reading of the entire manga series trying to prove just that point. Totally forgetting how one of the last few chapters just straight up ends with this panel.
