there's valid criticisms of ANY large group of people, but I am so grateful to the splatoon community being so welcoming and accepting. being a trans woman who hadn't played any video games at all until my mid 20s there's absolutely no way i would have gotten involved with any other comp community
comp splatoon is so pure ive competed here for several years and not once have i had an experience anything close to these. never wanna see another post like “thA splAtOon commUnity iS so toXic” no its not lol, its likely the most welcoming comp game believe it or not.

Ok I know this is old but honestly I think about it a lot. I think this is a massive oversimplification at best and I have an entire list of counterexamples. I think most of these would be better if you survive but they have an almost 0% chance of surviving and they're still good plays.

Hello #compsplatpon friends with ADHD or similar struggles: how do you stay focused in games? I find that my biggest challenge is my own ability to pay attention. My mind wanders to and I go on autopilot. I have a couple of things that I do which I will list below but I’d like to hear others too.
