Alright, I think people knew of the tariff pause and traded it beforehand.

You can see before Trump posted "buy" on Truth Social, traders opened $QQQ $TQQQ and $SPY calls

RIGHT BEFORE THE NEWS, someone opened $SPY 509 calls, expiring TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those calls are up 2100% in one hour.

Listening to Jim Maxwell annoyed by the Indian fielders' chat, calling them 'children, a cage of canaries' and other terms of ridicule remind me of when people would shout 'speak English!' at someone speaking a native tongue on the train. And just completely missed a dismissal. Time to go, old man.

This genuinely scares me, as an Australian Jew

The refusal to accept legitimate criticism, and the awful accusation that legitimate criticism is antisemitic, is, imho, among the leading drivers of antisemitism, and paints our community in a very negative light.

It’s what I feared from the envoy

This seems worth following.
This risks becoming a reputational scandal for CNN.

Syrian journalist Hassam Hammoud has just posted this video of women in Syria today protesting against the CNN “prisoner” report.

They call it staged & offensive to detainees’ families. They criticise the reporter for “chasing trends over truth”.

And Google just launched Gemini Deep Research.

It generates well-researched articles with references to published sources.

This will change the way we do literature reviews.
