Distrust is too gentle a word on its own - distrust, dislike, & disdain seems to more appropriately describe the current sentiment out here
The loss of American soft power. People outside the U.S. have a very real distrust of the American government now.

These posters started popping up ahead of next week’s We Ain’t Buying It boycott.

From Nov 27 - Dec 1, folks are stepping back from corporate chains like Target, Home Depot, and Amazon. People are done being squeezed, so they are using the leverage of their wallets 💥

I have said it before, & I’ll say it again: Sarah Hanson Young is worth her weight in gold.

Lock up all of the mealy mouthed politicians, bureaucrats, & business leaders who think making money & destroying environments should be allowed to take precedence over our continued existence on the planet.

Yeah, um, better not.

We’re cooking the planet with gas.

Thanks to Roger Cook, Anthony Albanese and Murray Watt…

Wake up dudes and smell the rotting carcasses of dead marine life.
Better approve some more gas fields and coal mines.

“Survival of the fittest”
is often used to justify capitalist society, but this wasn’t a phrase that Darwin used.
He described it as “better designed for an immediate, local environment" and wrote of groups that survived through empathy and sharing rather than greed.

Researchers say real impact of deforestation being hidden in Australia’s official figures by ‘sleight of hand’
Report commissioned by conservationists suggests some recorded new growth is misclassified or otherwise not equivalent to losses in species-heavy forests

This is the nation we are allied to as basically a vassal state.

This is the country our major party politicians, both ALP & Coalition, claim we have ‘shared values’ with.

This is the nation overtaking our sovereignty with strategic bases at Pine Gap, NW Cape, & soon in Rockingham.
