I made Gun Knight All Day. I've got some small projects on itch and sometimes I make little youtube videos.

Yea that's what I figured. I'm guessing he added the achievements to steamworks but just hasn't hooked up the code to actually use them yet. Something like that.

Still got it. Little slower though.

Is this your first time through? Or is it a rewatch?

Considering a global enemy health multiplier based on the current level, so enemies are just a little squishier in the early levels. Haven't done this yet, but I'm thinking about it.

Big improvement. It pained me to see players run by and not notice the gun drop and then run out of ammo a few rooms later.

I might end up doing more for pickups. Like having a bright sprite behind all pickups, or some glow effects. The heart pickups can be hard to see especially on the rugs.

Did you like reference them but not implement them? It's not a requirement to have achievements on a game right?

And don't sweat it, they're not too hard to implement. I thought it was kinda fun to add them.

I added a new enemy that is just a nerfed version of an existing enemy in a new color. With more generous health drops. He can only show up in the first level. Nerfed the bat enemy too, they were a little too tanky for bats.

Well, he can do whatever he wants on his store.

I love the game programming patterns one. It's so conversational and readable. Very pleasant read, which isn't always the case with those kinda books. It's been a while for me, I'd probably benefit from a re-read.
