If we can do these things, then the change we want is achievable. Mamdani isn't the answer. He's proof that the thesis we have about how we can save America is correct. But he's not going to change the whole country. Our job is to build now off his momentum.

#6 Build a Herd!

Mamdani's win is the most important victory for progressive politics in the last 50 years. But he can't change the whole country. His area of impact is one city.

We need to get more folks like Mamdani in office. We need them in big states and small states.

#5 Realize you have the high ground. Conservativism has destroyed America economically. The quality of life for 80% of the country is awful and only getting worse. This is because for 40 years we've let the #GOP set the economic policy.

Their ideas sucked 40 years ago. They certainly suck now.

#4 Attack the opposition hard! (rhetorically)

This goes in line with #1. When the #GOP pushes back, attack them hard with your voice, your logic, your arguments. Attack their reps, attack their offices. Flood them with questions and calls about why they are blocking progress.

#3 Stay engaged.

"Yay! The guy I like won! Hurray!"

Now, don't fucking evaporate and say shit like, "It's his job now! I did my part! I voted and stuff.'

Nope, you wanted the change. Be invested in the change. Participate in the process and stay in the process. The hard part is actually ahead.

#2 Be Brazenly Partisan towards PROGRESS! You don't have to vote Democratic and defend the DNC. It's indefensible. But... You DO have to vehemently support the politicians fighting for what you believe in. You need a HERD not a single fighter. Build a coalition by being the coalition.

So, this 'Grand Standing' that Trump will be impeached is only REAL if you believe the #GOP is willing to impeach and convict Trump.

Then after Jan 6 when #Trump encouraged his mob to MURDER the #GOP Senators, they still wouldn't impeach him.

Last time, the #GOP were faced with indisputable proof from the investigation #Trump acted illegally when asking Ukraine to open an investigation into Biden, they failed to convict.

If #Trump has done something impeachable, then obviously Dems would need to impeach, but... given the fact the Senate Republicans are terrified of Trump, I doubt there is a conviction. While the House may go to the DEMS for 2027, I doubt a 60+ Majority Swing will occur in the Senate.

Given that we essentially will have the same leadership in 2026, I am quite doubtful an 'immediate' impeachment will happen without doing the full due diligence of an investigation.

I'm old enough to remember the Ukraine controversy from 2019. Faced with indisputable facts, Pelosi and Schumer were quite hesitant to move forward with Impeachment until it became impossible to sweep under the rug.

Maybe this past year you realized that those who have told you what to do your whole life did so for their own gain.

Maybe you should wake up. The change you want is already here. You just have to participate and tear that shackle off your own neck.

Face it, you’ve been hoping someone ‘from the outside’ would come in and change DC, change the rules, and each time someone tried, you went back to the Oligarchy like an abused spouse going back to their abuser.

But you let dogma, pastors, holy men, media personalities, news programs, and bought politicians convince you that your own well being was less important than some useless social issue.

What is stunning to me is they are acting the way the left acted when Fascist won re-election, a fascist who followed through on his fascism.

Mamdani just wants to give folks access to food and housing, and they behave like their fucking civil rights are about to be stripped away.
