You would need to be deliberately making the decision not to see why this complaint has been brought to reach your position.

It has absolutely nothing to do with supposed anti-religious discrimination and everything to do with the fact that there was a transgender instructor.

Then you read more, see that the complaint's being promoted by Turning Point, that the essay calls going against a gender binary "demonic", that the teacher is trans and that the student's mother has posted that trans people should be banned from teaching and it's clear what's happening.

The essay fails to engage with any point made, instead just (without citation) stating God's intentions. Nothing scientific, nothing empirical, nothing at all actually cited.

While it's important to recognise that trans people are the main targets of her bigotry, I wouldn't say that we're the sole targets. She has also demonstrated problems with asexuals and bisexuality.
