Chendebji stupa, designed as the reminiscence of the Kathmandu's Boudhanath is another place where travelers stretch the legs while driving towards Trongsa. Today I focused my attention to the details. #Bhutan #Travel #FirefoxTours

Dochu-la Pass on the way from Thimphu to Punakha in Bhutan. A stupa with 108 small stupas at an altitude of 3100 m. I have passed through this place so many times that I can't count, but I never get tired of its magic. #Bhutan #FirefoxTours #Travel

Was Nepal’s GenZ uprising organic? Analyses suggest manipulation: ~34% of protest accounts were fake (Israeli cyber firm). NYT says arson was pre-planned. Who is behind? India's R&W or some other nefarious actor? #Nepal #GenZ #Disinfo

Speaking about Junbesi, this charming village — often likened to Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings — rests quietly among hills. It’s home to Thubtencholing Monastery, one of the region’s largest, where monks chant beneath prayer flags. Junbesi offers a rare stillness, where time slows down.

Pikey Peak (4,065 m) offers one of the widest Himalayan panoramas—from Kanchenjunga in the east to Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Dhaulagiri in the west. It's reached by a short, moderate trek in the Lower Everest region, with the traditional village of Junbesi nearby.

Democracy might be in decline but Index on which this map is more "Flawed" than any democracy it depicts. Like Nepal being red while Sri Lanka blue? India with all its political violence and coercion same like France or Italy? Seriously?
Global democracy is in decline. Some regions are backsliding, while others are on the brink of collapse. This isn’t just a trend - it’s a warning. What happens next will shape the world for generations. More awareness of democratic and autocratic systems is needed.
