As a society, we're much, much more sympathetic to addicts and addiction than we used to be. But we still fall into the belief once a person goes into recovery, they're fine (this is sometimes a narrative pushed by the addicts themselves.) But that is not always, or even most often, the case.

That is a phenomenal Albert Brooks movie, and i totally agree it could have been an RR flick. I love Defending your Life.
