No country was ever pushed into joining NATO. Ukraine knew Russia very well and had good reason to want to join. Finland and Sweden were neutral countries before the Ukraine war began. They joined because Putin forced their hand just like he was doing to Ukraine, prior to the war.

Putin thinks that Russia's war on Ukraine is justified. The world appears to think otherwise.
