Note the portion dedicated to the detention centers. I wish I heard Democrats talking as much about transparency and lawfulness in detention centers...not just for white protesters in the streets.

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Dear neighbor, It is not the time to let your guard down, nor is it the time to stop organizing.

While Bovino will be leaving Minneapolis along with some U.S. Border Patrol agents, there is still no specific plan that has been communicated to the public. 1/

These are the deaths we're not hearing about. This neighbor was even younger than Renee Good and Alex Pretti. I know nothing about him except that he didn't deserve this.

Our future must include justice for all those who've been terrorized, tortured, and murdered, here in MN and elsewhere.
Victor Manuel Diaz, 36, was abducted in Minneapolis. He died in ICE’s El Paso detention camp 8 days later on Jan 14.

ICE calls it suicide.

They didn’t send his body to the El Paso County ME who just classified another “suicide” at that camp a homicide. They sent him to an army medical center.

It's good that there seems to be some action to "reign in"ICE...but to be clear, cleaning up ICE and CBP behavior on the streets doesn't mean accountability and it doesn't mean that inhumane apprehention and detention centers stop operating. Let's not lose the forest for the trees.

It's so important we don't forget what our Minnesotan brothers and sisters are fighting and dying for: ending unjust, cruel, and violent targeting of immigrants. Support those who are out in the streets but don't forget those who are imprisoned (and dying) behind walls.

Imagine what’s happening in the camps.
Imagine how much they’d be lying about what happened without all the videos showing it from multiple angles.

Congress can't decide whether to feed or care for Americans.

Millions of Americans make decisions between food or medicine every day. Its about to get way worse.

It does not have to be this choice. It's never had to be this.

But the President can find money for ballrooms. #MAGA Priorities
