If it’s the right move why is Schumer voting no and pretending to be against it? Why is Jeffries vowing to fight it in the house? Why are recently elected Dems across the country speaking out against it? Being mad about this isn’t an outsider stance. High ranking Dems are pissed, too.

If they had no leverage as you say, what was the shutdown for? They could have gotten this “deal” 39 days ago.

Yes, but Chuck Schumer is the current minority leader. He either can’t control his caucus or is in on the coordinated deal. Either way he should be removed from leadership.

Any Dem senator not calling for Schumer to be removed from leadership was in on it. He either has no control over his caucus or, more likely, he is playing games to let this bill pass while pretending to be against it. Either way he shouldn’t be leader.

Health care isn’t negotiable.

This is ridiculous. People suffered for 40 days for you to get a promise for a vote? That’s it? Why not put the ACA subsidies in the CR right now?
