Last week, MGEU UnionWare members in Local 193 ratified a new 3-year collective agreement.

Highlights include:

• Annual increases based on Manitoba's consumer price index
• Merit increase system changes
• Profit sharing - a percentage of the annual EBITDA
• Health spending account increase

Last week, MGEU members and staff met with Dauphin MLA Ron Kostyshyn and Justice Minister Matt Wiebe to discuss plans for building the Dauphin Centre for Justice.

While in town, members also participated in an Eagle Feather Ceremony and marked the official opening of the new Dauphin Court House.

🚑 It's time for the employer to prioritize filling paramedic vacancies.

Winnipeggers need to know they can rely on an ambulance arriving in a timely fashion when they need one.

And the paramedics who staff them need to know that they aren't going to be working short.
