I am not a fan. Unfortunately, we cannot put the genie back in the bottle or close Pandora's box. My personal opinion. Trying to use it in such a way as to be creative. I would appreciate your take. This is where I am as of today.

As a hobby designer, I can tell you that if you wanted to keep continuity, you should have used the Bluesky blue value for the Bluesky butterfly and have that surrounded by a dark shade.
Similar in design to how Discord do it.
