The change dramatically lowers the annual and aggregate borrowing limits for both undergraduate and graduate degrees *during a deepening staffing shortage*. It's especially galling because Chiropractors and Theologians (hardly in short supply) maintained their professional degree status.

A key driver of the nursing shortage is the lack of nursing professors. Nursing professors require at least a Masters degree. The downstream effects of this short-sighted shitshow will be catastrophic.

They also give Christians, white folks (especially white women) and the south a bad name. If we want real political change in the south & midwest, we need to tax churches that "politic from the pulpit".

They are overrepresented in rural areas and Southern states, overwhelming support Trump, They're comfortable authoritarianism, and they effectively function as a closed social network - you aren't going to make inroads with this population.
