... on a stormy day with showers/ thunderstorms moving up from Morocco to start the day, improving into the afternoon, while a strong or gale force Levante and high seas building, particularly along the East side. Max 17.9C.

#Gibraltar - latest radar at 7:45am, 13/12 - plenty of thunderstorms in the area in that band still running SE to NW - little measurable rain so far on the Rock, but the risk of catching something heavier.

Strong Easterly winds have gusted to 42kts or 78km/h so far on the MeteoGib Weather Station.

#Iberia temps at 7am, 13/12 - some frost still lingering this morning towards the NE with coldest Molina de Aragón -3C, Benasque -2C and Bielsa 0C, while warmest around coasts and especially along the Mediterranean, where several at 17C including #Gibraltar but with Adra at 19C.

#Gibraltar - 6am, 13/12 - it's been a mostly cloudy and increasingly windy night of Levante with a strong to near Gale force wind picking up, and thunderstorms slowly edging up from the Strait, with frequent lightning - the temperature is 17C with humidity at 82%.
