A humid Levanter to start the week with plenty of low cloud again today, but mostly dry with perhaps the small risk of any isolated drizzle - best of the sunshine expected later but remaining hazy with Saharan dust.

Saharan dust will continue to affect a good part of the peninsula today, including the local area, giving some hazier skies/ calima + likely to give dusty rain with any showers, particularly forecast for some Central and, again Eastern parts.

#Gibraltar #Weather - 13/10 - for this evening and overnight - plenty of hazy sunshine expected this evening with perhaps some patchy Levanter, but with increasing low cloud overnight - some misty low cloud in light Easterly winds. Staying humid, 19 or 20C.

#Iberia temps at 7am, 13/10 - coldest this morning to the NE with Benasque & Tavescan 6C, in contrast to some very warm tropical nights continuing particularly around coastal areas to the S/ E, with Cadiz, Almeria, San Javier & Javea warmest and starting the day at 22C.

#Gibraltar - 6am, 13/10 - it's been a humid, hazy and mostly cloudy night of Levante, in a gentle East to Northeasterly, although still gustier at the moment over Town - the temperature is currently 21C with humidity at 88%.

#Gibraltar - 12/10 - it was a cloudier day of Levante to end the weekend, particularly during the morning, which gave just a few spots of drizzle - best of the day's sunshine breaking through later, although hazy due to high cloud & #SaharanDust. Seas remained choppy. Max 23.9C.

Gibraltar - 12/10 - another great shot showing those choppier seas at Europa Point, with a 2m Easterly swell forecast today along the East side and into the Strait, slowly easing - photo thanks to follower Christian Ferrary - at 3pm, the temp has reached 23.7C so far on the MeteoGib Weather Station.

#Gibraltar - 12/10 - a very Autumnal view from Catalan Bay this morning, with a few spots of drizzle reported and, as MeteoGib forecast, with those choppier seas - at 1pm, skies have brightened, with the temperature now at 22C.

We have a new influx of Saharan dust extending N across parts of the peninsula today so expect increasingly hazy skies + some dusty rain likely where any showers, particularly East.

Dust is forecast to continue next week, intensifying at times.

#Gibraltar - 6am, 12/10 - it's been another humid but breezy night of Levante, winds easing to a gentle East to Northeasterly at the Airport although still very gusty over Town, with plenty of cloud at first but currently just the Levanter streaming off the Rock - the temp is 21C and humidity 88%.

#Gibraltar - 11/10 - a view again of that #Lenticular-type Levanter hovering over the Rock, and snapped at lunchtime from #LaLinea - on an increasingy breezy day with a mix of cloud and good sunny spells, with the only shower overnight, staying dry through the day. Max 23.7C.
