I think a lot of it has to do with the deep sociological depression inherent in the advent of the internet making us all collectively, slowly, and then very rapidly, aware of just how much of our labor and time and economic value have been outright abused since roughly the beginning of agriculture

Bluesky has a leadership problem. It has a human problem. The technology it's building has a technical design problem that it thinks isn't a problem and it has a corporate ideological problem that enforces the idea that that design problem is a solution instead of being just another problem
