This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.
Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.
This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Can someone please throw Schumer in the trash can and get the Democrats better leadership already? The left wins big in an election and the first thing the party does to celebrate is immediately cave and weakly hand the right everything it wanted. No wonder Democrats are so unpopular.

I hope people realize that it doesn’t matter whether states comply with Trump’s illegal attempt to control elections. He’s setting up to declare the results as invalid if they don’t do what he says, thus rendering it irrelevant who people vote for.

This is obscenely disgusting. What a cult this guy has managed to form around himself. No other word for it.

Funny, I was just thinking how I’d like to not buy any more Square games starting in roughly 2027.
Surely there’s no way this goes well, right? I can’t imagine AI is good enough at this job to not cause a loss in quality.

The U.S. has shifted so extreme right that what the rest of the world views as common sense policies for the good of all, we view as radical left wing extremism. The left wing in this country needs to get better at PR and messaging.

Maybe Coke is right that the AI genie can’t be put back in the bottle, but we sure as hell still have the power to not spend our money on products that use ugly, soulless slop like they’ve gone all in on. Consumers have the power if they choose to use it.

AI is a naked emperor proclaiming how world changing his wardrobe is. Pretty soon the world is going to see that his balls are hanging out and the bubble is going to burst. The best they have to show us is the dumpster fire Sora app and chatbots that still can’t answer basic questions without lying.

There’s something about the incredibly on the nose symbolism of this evil man literally tearing down the White House to build a hideous monument to his ego that makes me so viscerally angry. More so than even his usual nonsense.

I wonder if the people who voted for Trump so he would lower their cost of living have figured out what’s going on now that’s he’s put tariffs on every item on shelves and bailed out Argentina’s economy instead of ours.

The Supreme Court is truly working in concert with an authoritarian regime to favor outright racist policies that suppress voters so a deeply unpopular regime can stay in power illegitimately. That is the cold hard reality but so hard to wrap my head around.

If Disturbed is going to keep saying their concerts are a place where music should bring people together regardless of belief, they should probably stop autographing bombs and promoting genocide. Practice what you preach.

Amiibo prices are so depressing. I used to love buying the little things. They made me so happy. Now the cheap ones cost more than twice what they used to. $30 for an amiibo is crazy. $40 for an amiibo is robbery. I simply can’t justify them anymore.
